It couldn't happen two months in a row, but it did. Another stranded bicycle. And a premonition. Not only was I not there in July, I wasn't there in Aug, Sept and Oct too!!! What a beautiful day, extremely Warm. Unfortunately the downpour on Friday evening that we had up here meant very hilly rides were out of the question, so we went to West Linton.

What a day. Woke from a nightmare on the sofa in the front room at 4:30. The sun streaming in through the window. Had I missed the Spokes Ride? I must have because I'd been asleep for 45 minutes and Spokes Rides go on all day. Terrible nightmare though. Dreamt the forecast for the afternoon on the Spokes Ride was for horrible rainy windy weather.

First Sunday in March Cycle Ride 2003, which was led by the CTC this month, who kindly took it over at the last minute because my father passed away quite suddenly. Thanks Guys.

Did we have a good day or did we have a good day. Not a day to be part of the TBC (Turning Back Club to the newbies to this email). What a brilliant ride to Aberdour.
